Sharkoon Announces TK5M RGB Compact ATX Case

Sharkoon Technologies, an international supplier of high-quality, high-performance PC components and peripherals, now presents the TK5M RGB. With its modern mesh front panel, four pre-installed 120-millimeter fans and a port for fast USB-C Type-C Gen 2, this compact ATX case been developed for users who value usability, affordability and maximum performance.

With the TK5M RGB, Sharkoon focuses in particular on a well-thought-out airflow. At the core of this is the combination of an air-permeable mesh front and four pre-installed, addressable RGB 120-millimeter fans. Three of these fans provide an optimized air intake behind the front panel, while another fan is responsible for removing the heated air through the rear of the case. If the user wishes to expand the airflow, two more 120-millimeter fans or two larger 140-millimeter fans can be installed under the top panel to provide an additional discharge of used air.

Fast Data Transfer
Another feature of the case is an uncomplicated and fast data transfer. In addition to two USB 3.0 ports, the top panel of the TK5M RGB is also provided with a USB 3.2 Gen. 2 port for quick data access. With a speed of up to 10 gigabits per second, the modern transmission standard offers a data transfer rate that is up to twice as fast as Gen 1 alongside an uncomplicated connection of mobile devices.

Modern Presentation

Due to the case’s protruding front frame with its rounded corners, the TK5M RGB appears distinctly modern and yet also classic enough that the looks do not distract from the showcasing of the installed hardware. An included RGB controller synchronizes the illumination of the four built-in fans, which provide for an atmospheric presentation behind the tempered glass side panel. Cable pass-throughs inside the case as well as a power supply tunnel and detachable dust filters all support the tidy presentation.

Optimized Arrangement of Space

Despite its compact size, the TK5M RGB can also accommodate larger hardware. The manufacturer specifies a maximum graphics card length of up to 31 centimeters or, with the front fan removed, 33.5 centimeters. A power supply unit with a length of up to 17.5 centimeters and a CPU cooler with a height of up to 15.7 centimeters can also be installed.

Plentiful Data Storage

The TK5M RGB has also been provided with enough space for data storage: Two 3.5-inch hard drives can be installed in and on the HDD/SSD cage in the underside of the case. Alternatively, a total of two 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed in and on the cage. Two more SSDs can be placed next to the mainboard tray and a fifth on the power supply tunnel.

Price and Availability

The TG5M RGB is now available at the manufacturer’s suggested price of 69.00 euros.
