Meow meow, mew mew mew. Mew, meow. Meow!

Does anyone remember Samorost? It was one of the best Flash games that surfaced during the Newgrounds era — a point-and-click adventure that set the creepy-cute tone for all of Amanita Design’s work from that point on.
Catie in MeowmeowLand has a lot of that creepy-cute DNA, mixed with a big ol’ dollop of what-the-heckery, and — if you’ll forgive us for referencing the mid-2000s again — the aesthetic of We Like The Moon.
Like Samorost, Catie in MeowmeowLand is a point-and-click adventure, in which the titular Catie is dragged into a rabbit hole and forced to explore a hallucinatory storybook world through puzzles and dialogue with a cast of weird nightmare creatures.
Now, this is either your worst nightmare or your Exact Kind Of Thing, especially if you’re a terminally online millennial like some of us, so if you’re the latter, you can download Catie in MeowmeowLand from the Nintendo Switch eShop on the 30th March, for $14.99 / £9.99 / €11.99.
Do you actually remember We Like The Moon? Or is that just us? Please let us know in the comments.
