What Review Score Would You Give Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door?

I’d give the original an 8-9 since I do have a fair amount of gripes with TTYD (overuse of death fakeouts, TEC, linear level design), but the improvements the remake made far overshadow any lingering criticisms I have for the game as a whole. It’s harder to understate just how richer all of the new details, character animations, and context-sensitive music tracks make the game feel for me, not even mentioning all the QoL improvements. TTYD still isn’t my favorite Paper Mario, but this remake definitely bumps it up to a 10 for me.
